When we calculate the cash back, we give you a percentage of cash back based on your sub-totaled bill. We do this by subtracting the tax and average tip from the venue where you used your card. If you tipped more or less than the average tip size, you may get slightly more or less than the percentage offered at the location but this should not vary more than $0.10.
